To help children fully appreciate the wonder of 3D printing, this activity integrates both an introduction to how 3D printers work and hands-on experience with 3D printing pens. This combined approach enhances their understanding of the technology while providing an engaging and immersive learning experience.
While screen-free, the session offers a tech-rich experience where children use 3D pens to build real objects, fostering a strong sense of achievement.
At the end of each session, children will take home their own creations. This allows parents to see the tangible outcomes of the activity and gain a clearer understanding of the knowledge and experiences their child has gained.
Ensures every child receives individual attention and close supervision throughout the activity.
Clear instructions are provided before the session to ensure safe and confident use of all tools.
We use PCL filament, which melts at a low temperature (~60°C), making it safe for children’s use.
Instructors closely monitor all activity and provide real-time guidance to prevent any misuse.
Our 3D pens are cordless or battery-operated, minimising tripping hazards and simplifying safe handling.
